Julia caught a little stomach-flu bug late on Saturday, keeping her up (and puking) for some time overnight and leaving her worn out on Sunday. This meant that I spent pretty much the whole day with Vivi – taking a nice long bike ride/walk in the morning and then heading out to the Defeat of Jesse James Days parade this afternoon – an event at which we’d planned as a family ice-cream outing. With Julia and Shannon home, Vivi and I nonetheless indulged:
And at the end of the day, Vivi finally let me record her reading a book for bedtime – the classic Ten Minutes till Bedtime by Peggy Rathmann (a book and an author we heartily commend to other parents and kids!). It takes her 3:21 to finish the book (some of which suffers from terrible camerawork), but I think it’s worth it.
