Today is Shannon’s seventh Mother’s Day as a mother, and not just a daughter. Every year, I’m more amazed at her grace, skill, and determination in handling all the new (and old!) duties, trials, and joys. This year might have been the best ever, though. Beyond the “usual” extraordinary stuff she does, she saw G into kindergarten, got her book published (after redesigning it on her own!), did numerous readings from that book, worked her way (mostly) through a nagging running injury, and learned to hula hoop!
