Tonight’s movie was maybe the most mainstream of all the flicks I’ve seen so far this month: The Town, a heist movie starring Ben Affleck as a sort of criminal alter-ego to the character he played in Good Will Hunting. I had very low expectations for this movie, so I was very happy to discover that it’s pretty good, with interesting characters, an engaging plot, and plenty of action, including an excellent climax.
