At dinner tonight, I mentioned that tomorrow is April Fools Day, a concept which Julia and Genevieve found perplexing and interesting. After they failed to get me to reveal my own planned (and incredibly tame) AFD pranks, they came up with some of their own.
Julia
- “The trees have ice cream on them!”
- “Look! It’s snowing!” [She cribbed this from her mother.]
Genevieve
- “Hey, look! All the grass is gone!”
- “There are apples under our trees!”
- “The leaves just came out on the trees!”
