There is a tree on Meadow View Drive near Birch that is vividly turning yellow/red at the top already!!
Shannon — I noticed that tree the other day, too. I don’t know exactly what the variety is, but changing color in August is not a good sign.
Are you sure that isn’t a creeping vine turning red? I think it’s called Virginia Creeper.
I’m pretty sure, Margaret, that it’s the tree – I got up pretty close, and I think it’s the leaves (not a vine) turning already.
