Brushing her teeth a few minutes ago, Genevieve heard the sink drain gurgle. She interrupted her brushing to say, “Excuse me!” (actually, “Coos me!”) but I couldn’t tell if she was admonishing the drain or apologizing on its behalf.

Not that it really matters, but for accuracy, the baby says “Noo mee” for “excuse me.”
