I find it hilarious that a year later, Julia is still wearing the same running shoes and the same pair of jeans, and today she wore the same blouse she was wearing at the pumpkin farm last fall. The epic growth “spurt” of birth-t0-age-three finally leveled off during her fourth year! Finally–I’ve gotten a breather in the constant race to keep her outfitted in clothes that fit! As for Genevieve, she’s gotten a lot more hair.

I was going to say the same thing – most definitely more hair. I’d love to see a compilation of all kid photos taken on the back of that pickup – ours included. Savor every whiny screaming minute of these years – they are gone so soon. Now I can’t hold mine on my lap without big honkin chunks of them draping off.

Clearly G. looks older, but to me the most striking changes are in J. She went from a toddlery/pre-school kid to a full-blown kid kid.

Chris,
Your wife looks a lot – and I mean a lot – different in the 2008 bench picture.

She’s been working out a lot and taking some “nutritional supplements” from Spain.

I was noticing the difference in J, too. She’s definitely more ‘little girl’ in this year’s set. And, as she gets older, she looks more like a blend of the two of you (although still pulls from C’s looks waaaay more than S’s).
You should hang those pics side-by-side. We have pics of our kids (and kid when we only had one) with the SAME Santa Claus – you know, the ones you take at the mall – all lined up in a row. It’s a great way to capture the kids growing up.

The 2007 bench picture is much hotter. Is that what Brendon meant to say?

Rob,
You’re sick! Those kids are probably not 18!
