It looks like a way to get cheap pizza, but it’s actually a metaphor for the American economy – something about ridiculous ostentation culminating in the hollow satisfaction of pathetically simple needs.
Maybe he used to work for WaMu? or Lehman Bros?
He should thank his lucky tomatoes that he’s in a more stable business now. The peoples always need pizza!
